Meet us
Jaime
On a quest to answer the question of ‘Who am I?’, I started my yoga journey and have quickly realised this practice is just the beginning of my spiritual journey - on a path of self discovery and growth. Each day that we step onto our mats is an opportunity to grow, leaving a different person from the one who started at the beginning of the practice.
My classes are an invitation for you to keep feeding your soul, nurturing your heart and expanding your mind, so that you may rise to your full potential.
Sabrina
I found yoga in 2014, as a student using a basic yoga video bought on sale. I came to yoga expecting nothing and have received everything in return. The corners of my mat have become the space where I return to myself.
Yoga, for me, is an invitation to move within, discover your inner world, and it will show you what you need to see in that moment, make you feel what you need to feel. Yoga meets you where you are at.
My classes are vinyasa practices that hold space for your inner journey. Through breath and movement, you will drop out of your head and into your body – these classes are an invitation to return home.

When I first started practicing Yoga I was the complete opposite of health and wellness, never mind inner peace or happiness. It’s been my personal path to creating a life of balance, health, vitality and dynamism but at the same time deep inner peace. I’m on a mission to relentlessly remind you of your inner and outer strength and ability to create well-being in the deepest of ways by practicing Yoga together. Yoga is really a science of creating our best selves.
In classes I draw wisdom from ancient Yogic teachings and modern science, offering sweaty and challenging classes but at the same time embracing our gentle, nurturing sides so that Yoga can be healing and not damaging! Expect some light heartedness too because we really don’t need to take ourselves so seriously. My classes are open to people of all levels, you don’t have to be flexible to practice Yoga, all you have to be is willing.
Guys don’t sleep on this Yoga either, I was hesitant at first too but it’s proper. See you on your mat!

Sushmitha is an Ashtanga Yoga Teacher from Chennai, India with over a decade of practice and teaching experience under her belt. She honed her skills in this ancient art from an early age – living in ashrams and studying yoga in a broad sense, but later went on to formalize her training in Hatha Yoga alongside a degree in Western Philosophy. She is a 500HR (RYT) and 200HR (AYI) certified teacher, and has spent several months in Mysore, studying directly under Sharath Jois, the foremost authority on Ashtanga today.
At the age of 23, she traveled across East Africa to work for an NGO to deliver yoga training to refugee women, children and working professionals alike. She has been featured in national newspapers for her work and has programs on major TV service providers like Tata Sky Fitness and Dish TV back home, and has recently moved to South Africa, to continue learning and sharing her love for yoga.

Greetings! My name is Vince. I have been teaching yoga for 10 years now. I did my Hatha YTT with Christine Withiel in Durban North.
Learning from Christine was an absolutely life altering experience for me. I came from a Pilates and personal training background prior to that and although I find the workings of anatomy fascinating, I find the workings of the mind more so. Yoga has given me the tools I need to focus my mind and keep me grounded in a world that is constantly in flux.
My hope is to impart those tools to the people that practice with me.
Ali
I am a happy yogi from Durban’s North Coast. I have spent 15 years exploring the intricacies of yoga on a physical and spiritual level, dedicating my personal practice to styles like Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Yin.
Yoga is a discipline of inspiration and solace that allows me to remain curious, propelling me into self-exploration through movement and meditation. Every practice, every asana, every breath is a constant reminder that I have only just scratched the surface of everything yoga has to teach me.
I hope to ignite the same wonder and excitement I have for this beautiful practice in every class I teach.

I was first introduced to yoga in 2016 and was immediately drawn to its calming effects on my mind and body.
To me, yoga incorporates creativity, fluidity, strength and mobility – creating a safe space from the moment I step onto my mat and allowing me to discover myself throughout each practice.
I invite you to come and experience the duality of movement and the illusion of stillness with me, ultimately finding your own flow.
Melissa
Hello lovely human, my name is Melissa. I am currently doing my honours in psychology and am a qualified nutritionist and yoga teacher. Over the years health and wellness has become a passion of mine and when I found yoga around five years ago it became a way of dealing with the chronic backache and anxiety I experienced on a daily basis.
It is now an outlet for me to express myself and ensure my body and mind are getting the love they deserve.
I would love nothing more to share this practice and it’s ever changing magic with out. Can’t wait to meet you on your mat!

My pursuit of holistic well-being has led me on an interesting path. I studied Vedanta Philosophy for 2 years in India under the world-renowned spiritual master Swami Parthasarathy at the Vedanta Academy. At that time yoga, breathwork, and meditation became part of my daily life, and still is today. The systemic knowledge of Vedanta is integral to uncovering one’s purpose, peace, productivity and autonomy.
Through my work as a Relationship Well-Being Facilitator (mentored by the amazing Rebecca Thompson Hitt whose career has been influenced by the likes of Bruce Lipton and Ray Castellino) and as a Social Anthropologist researching relationship well-being and spirituality, I have witnessed how essential it is for us to feel safe to truly thrive in all aspects of our lives.
My purpose is to bring a sense of safety and power to people through the simplified, effective and valuable modalities and tools for self-regulation, and emotional well-being I have learned along my path.
Derryn
I am Derryn Scott, a passionate Personal Life Mentor, Yoga teacher and Retreat Facilitator. Over the last 6 years, whilst traveling & working abroad, I have been immersing myself in the world of movement medicine. I have completed courses & workshops around the world in the realms of Yoga (500hrs Elemental Tantra & Vinyasa), Embodiment, Tantric Arts, Meditation, Mindset work, Shadow work, PSYCK-K (Reprogramming the subconscious mind) and Sacred Sexuality.
Yoga has been my gateway to the path of Remembrance. Remembering who we are as human beings and why we are here. I am a lover of the human body and how it holds sacred knowledge, wisdom and power. My ambition is to create authentic and transformational environments where others can explore all parts of themselves.
My Yoga classes have been inspired by the senses, nature’s elements and the journey of Self-discovery.
See you on the mat for a holistic experience!
